Abstract for The Disney Version
Walt Disney was born on December 5th, 1901in Chicago, Illinois. When he was a kid, his family moved around a lot. To make some money when he was younger, Disney sold his drawings and paintings to neighbors and friends. At one point, Walt Disney had a company called Laugh-O-Grams, but it went bankrupt so he moved to Hollywood and got married to Lilly Bounds; eventually they had two daughters together. In 1928, Disney produced his first, and what most people would say is his most famous cartoon, Mickey Mouse. Walt Disney started on his first cartoon movie in 1934, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but it took three years to make and it wasn’t actually finished until 1937. Finally in 1950, Disney made his first live action movie, Treasure Island, but then returned to making his animated movies and cartoons. Walt Disney opened an amusement park in 1955; which he called Disneyland. Disney died on December 15th, 1966 but left his successful business to his family.
